RENEWABLE CHEMICALS AND FUELS

APPLICATIONS FOR FLEXIFORMING

Ethanol Producers Entering SAF Market:

Flexiforming offers the cheapest, simplest way to convert ethanol to sustainable aviation fuel (SAF).

Decarbonizing Oil Refineries Using HEFA Technology:

Transform idle naphtha hydrotreaters and reformers into Flexiformers to upgrade renewable naphtha and LPG into SAF with a potential of doubling the value compared to the alternative disposition.

HEFA Co-processing Refiners:

Integrate a Flexiformer to simultaneously upgrade both renewable and fossil naphtha, enabling progressive transition to renewable chemicals and renewable fuels.

Corn Belt Refiners:

Deploy a large-scale Flexiformer (ie: 30K BPD) to convert regional ethanol from up to 6 plants into SAF, facilitating seamless blending with fossil jet fuel for direct pipeline delivery to airports.

Fischer-Tropsch Operators:

Convert your light byproducts (naphtha and LPG) into aromatic SAF component with Flexiforming, creating a fully drop-in SAF after blending with the paraffinic FT SAF. Flexiforming can operate at a small scale, making this possible.

Renewable Methanol Producers:

Add a matching-size Flexiformer to your methanol plant, making valuable SAF from your renewable methanol.

FLEXIFORMING: 7 STEPS TO DEPLOY

You provide us with the information about your feed(s) and desired product(s).

Step 1

You assess the economics of the expected material balance and decide whether to proceed.

Step 3

We produce Process Technology Package (PTP). PTP is enough for your preferred EPC partner to make an informed CapEx estimate and develop engineering documentation for your plant.

Step 5
Step 7

We forecast yields of the target products and give you a tentative material balance based on our experience of ~500 tests on ~50 various feeds. Knowing your intended capacity and configuration of your existing equipment, we can give you a rough CapEx estimate.

Step 2

If your desired feed(s) or product(s) are unusual, we can run a series of tests with your specific feeds or products to confirm the yields.

Step 4

We work with the EPC company, helping it design and build your plant.

Step 6

We help you and the EPC company launch the plant and bring it to the design capacity and mode of operation.
